Dear Parents,
As we approach the winter season, we are thrilled to invite your children to join the Netball Waitākere competitions! This is a fantastic opportunity for kids to get active, make new friends, and develop essential teamwork skills in a fun and supportive environment. Games will be held each week at the Te Pai Netball courts, and your child's coach will provide details about training sessions.
Competition for Years 1-4
Years 1 & 2: Indoor games on Thursday afternoons, starting at 3:50 PM from Thursday, 29th May 2025.
Years 3 & 4: Outdoor games on Thursday afternoons, with the first game at 4:00 PM from Thursday, 29th May 2025.
Competition for Years 5 & 6
For our older students, we have:
Year 5, 6 a-side: Games on Monday afternoons, starting at 4:10 PM from Monday, 5th May 2025.
Year 6, 6 a-side and 7 a-side: Monday afternoons.
Intermediate School Competition for Years 7 & 8
Year 7: Games are on Wednesday afternoons, starting at 4:10 PM from Wednesday, 30th April 2025.
Year 8: Games are on Wednesday afternoons, starting at 5:10 PM from Wednesday, 30th April 2025.
Call for Coaches and Managers
We need your help! To ensure our teams can participate, we urgently need volunteers to act as coaches and managers. Your support will make a huge difference in providing our children with a positive and engaging netball experience.
Registration Process
To register your child, please follow these easy steps: Join the Netball Group on Skool Loop: Go to settings, subscribe to groups, and select Netball. You'll find more information there.
Fill Out the Online Registration: Complete the registration by April 5th so we can organize teams efficiently.
Fees: The registration fee for the season is $90. Please pay this 12 3085 0314327 000 with the reference as Netball and your child’s name by the registration deadline.
We are committed to creating a fun and inclusive environment for all players. Our Code of Conduct ensures that everyone enjoys the game with respect and sportsmanship. Regular attendance at games and training sessions is expected unless prior notice is given to the coaches.
